Overview of the Forums
Once you login, you should see several forums, as indicated below. (The picture below may not be up to date –there
may be more or fewer forums listed.)
The link outlined in red is the Script Submission forum. The links below this are the other available forums.
The link to the Testing Forum is highlighted in brown below. We will revisit this forum later.
The link “Board Index”, highlighted in orange, always takes you back to this page. It also provides additional
navigation options, depending on where you are on the site. This is useful to remember if you need to navigate to
 another forum.
In order to go to a forum, just click the appropriate link. Click the link to go to the Script Submission forum now.
• After clicking the link to go to the Script Submission forum, you should be on a page that
looks similar to the one below.
• Each of the links under the header marked “TOPICS” is called a thread. Threads are user-
created topics that consist of an opening or starting post, along with subsequent replies.
(Topics and threads can be treated as the same thing.)
• Notice that the area highlighted in lavender tells you your current location on the forums.
• The icon highlighted in green is an important thread called a “Sticky,” because it never
leaves the top of a forum. Writers should read ALL stickied threads very carefully, especially
the thread marked in red, “Script Writing Guidelines.”
• The “New Topic” button marked in blue allows you to create a new thread. (This is how you
    submit your scripts.)
Posting and Replying 1
Now you are going to create your first post. This is just a post for testing
purposes that will have no content to it (it is not an actual script).
Go to the Board Index and then go to the Testing Forum.
Click the New Topic Button. You should see a screen that looks like the one
 below.
Posting and Replying 2
The subject of your post is the name you give to your post.
Make up a name for your test post according to the naming guidelines outlined
in the “How to Submit your Scripts” sticky thread on the “Script Submission”
 forum.
Put whatever you want into the body. (This is not an actual script submission –
just put “hi” if you want.)
 Click the submit button.
Posting and Replying 3
After submitting your post, you will be greeted with this message.

Click “View your submitted message.” If you do not click it quickly, you should
be forwarded to the thread you created automatically.
Now you are going to reply to the thread that you just created. Click the post
reply button and create a test reply.

That’s it! Now you are fully capable of submitting scripts. But just to be sure,
the next slide details this process in short.
How to Submit Scripts
In order to submit a script, go to the Script Submission Forum.
IMPORTANT: Read the Script Submission Guidelines. Scripts that are not
submitted according these guidelines cannot be considered!
Make a new thread by clicking the new thread button.
Paste the script from your word processor into the thread that you are creating,
following the format outlined in the How to Submit your Scripts thread.
Use the forum controls to format your script as needed.
 That’s it!
Repeat the relevant steps of this process for every script that you submit.
Overview of the Entire Script
Creation Process
1. Writers become familiar with the relevant creation guidelines and have also read previous scripts, both accepted
      and not accepted.
2. A script request is issued. This request notification will be placed on the forum and emailed to the entire Gramify
Writing Team. The script request will include the name of the property we are writing for, the characters we can
use, occasion restrictions, if any, and the deadline. There may be further specifications made on a per-property
      basis.
3. Writers submit all scripts via the Script Submission forum by the deadline indicated.
4. The Gramify Team reviews the scripts and decides which ones to accept. (Writers are compensated here.)
5. Accepted scripts are moved to the “Script Editing – Round 1 Forum”
6. Round 1 editing cycle begins.
7. The Gramify Team reviews the edits and feedback is delivered. (Writers are compensated here for round 1 editing.)
Scripts that require further editing are moved to the “Script Editing – Round 2 Forum”
8. Round 2 editing cycle begins.
9. The Gramify Team makes final adjustments to the scripts.
10. Scripts begin to move through further company channels, ultimately being recorded and appearing on our website
      as finished products.
Next Steps
The next step is to familiarize yourself with scripts that have been accepted and
scripts that have not been accepted. Scripts that have been accepted appear on
either of the Script Editing forums; scripts that have not been accepted remain
on the script submission forum or will be placed elsewhere. Doing this is a
helpful way to better understand what Gramify values in scripts, beyond what
appears in the Script Writing Guidelines thread.
If you have any questions, email us at
 writingteamadmin@gramifyproductions.com.
Finally, simply wait for our next script request. You will receive word about it
via email and helpful resources will be posted on the script submission forum.
Note that testing posts will be removed from the testing forum periodically.
(Submitting the test post is required so that we know that you understand how
 to use our system effectively.)
